Jordan Fisher, Aaron Tveit & Grease Live Cast

“Those Magic Changes” is a song composed for the original 1972 Broadway production of “Grease” and is performed by Jordan Fisher and Aaron Tveit as Doody and Danny in Grease Live.

The song remains in a similar placement and context as the original version, the biggest change being the omission of the lead-in where Doody sings the chord progression and the addition of Danny’s vocals at the end.

The performance was well received by audiences with Cosmopolitan crowning him “the breakout heartthrob of the night.” “Those Magic Changes” was one of the most popular songs of the soundtrack, moving just over 9,000 copies during its inaugural week of release.

Jordan Fisher caught the eye of the musical theater world through this role, going on to collaborate with Lin Manuel Miranda to cover “You’re Welcome” from the Disney film Moana. Following this, Fisher made his Broadway debut in Hamilton, starring as John Laurens and Philip Hamilton.
