An unofficial script to episode 2 of season 1 of Jessica Jones, “AKA Crush Syndrome”.

The title literally refers to what Kilgrave suffered following a car accident, as after a kidney is crushed, the other starts to break down. Metaphorically, it also describes Kilgrave’s ability to control people. People are unable to resist doing everything he tells them to do, much like how people are unable to resist someone they have a crush on.
