BTS

“FIRE” is a song by South Korean boy band Bangtan Boys ‘BTS’ (방탄소년단).

“FIRE” is the lead single from The Most Beautiful Moment In Life: Young Forever, a compilation album of the aforementioned two EPs with new tracks and remixes. The cut feels like an upgraded version of “Dope”, a standout single off BTS' The Most Beautiful Moment In Life, Pt. 1 EP, with its aggressive combination of zipping synthesizers, trap percussion and group chants.

“Fire” stands out for the snippets of house production and twitching electronics, while the boys deliver some of their most impressive rap sections to date, with member J-Hope particularly shining in the track’s opening verse.
The accompanying music video also sees the guys whipping out their most intense choreography to date. At one moment, BTS look at risk to suffer from whiplash from their quick group moves, and at other times they’re serving straight-up Matrix with the impressive slo-mo choreo.

Upon release, “The Most Beautiful Moment In Life: Young Forever” climbed the charts in BTS' native country, Korea and most impressively, in America as well. Despite its hefty $24.99 price tag, the LP successfully climbed into the Top 20 of the U.S. iTunes Top Albums chart, while new songs like the “Run (Ballad Mix),” “Love Is Not Over,” “House of Cards,” and “Save Me” all charted within the Top 200 Songs, with “Fire” charting remarkably inside the Top 40.
