‘Stars’ is the second single released from Skillet’s 10th studio album Unleashed. The song was first premiered on Air1 on May 26, 2016.
The song is one of the band’s first clearly worshipful, spiritual song in years, hence it being released on Christian radio. Lead singer John Cooper and his wife Korey collaborated with CCM writers Seth Mosley (Newsboys, for KING & COUNTRY) and Jason Ingram (Passion, Crowder, Vertical Worship).
