36 Villainz

Playboi Carti

“36 Villainz,” originally titled “36illvillianz,” was recorded sometime in 2012 and serves as the intro track to $ir Cartier’s fifth mixtape, Young Mi$fit. Many mistakenly confuse this track with “36 Whip N” released on Cartier’s third mixtape, THC: THE HIGH CHRONICAL$, but they are two different songs.

Exploring common themes of drug usage, women, and representing the south side of Atlanta, Cartier gives us a taste of his party-filled lifestyle, as expressed throughout the main verse of the song:

Purple killing that fool, I smoke dolo by two
Got me high to the roof, got ya' bitch getting loose

Cartier with your bitch on the interstate
Foreign whip she love—this shit.

The instrumental of the song leaked on September 5, 2023, alongside the instrumental of “Carolina Blue.”

The original file of the song, titled “1. 36 Villianz,” surfaced on April 26, 2021, alongside the original files of all the songs from the mixtape.
