And So Is Love [Director’s Cut]

Kate Bush

“And So Is Love” is a song originally released as a single for the 1993 album The Red Shoes and featured in the film “The Line, The Cross and the Curve” of the same year. It was later heavily remixed and rereleased as the tenth track from Kate’s first 2011 album Director’s Cut. Much like the rest of the album, the track features many of the original performances but has had new “scenes” and textures added.

Much like previous track, “Top of the City”, it doesn’t drop from its original key of G minor and is only extended by a matter of seconds. However, it does feature a few lyrical adjustments including the insertion of more lyrics towards the end of the song and the altering of key lyric “And now we see that life is sad” to “And now we see that life is sweet”.
