The second single off Professor Green’s debut album sees the winner of the first JumpOff MySpace rap contest team up with MySpace star Lily Allen, for whose 2009 “It’s Not Me, It’s You” world tour Green opened in Australia.

Released 25 June 2010 in Australia, and 11 July 2010 in the UK, “Just Be Good To Green” was composed and produced by Semothy Jones, and the first version of the track was originally put down in 2007, with Beats labelmate Neon Hitch on the chorus. When Beats folded in 2008 Green bought out the track and rerecorded it in 2009 with Allen.

“Just Be Good To Green” is a reworking of Norman Cook’s Beats International 1990 chart-topper “Dub Be Good To Me,” and like that track, samples The S.O.S. Band’s 1983 original “Just Be Good To Me.”
