The first song on his second major album, “American Bad Ass” describes Kid Rock in a nutshell – all the things that make up his style and personality and musical influences. The song samples Metallica’s “Sad But True” for the main track line, as well as a small piece of “Hobo Scratch” by Malcolm McLaren and World’s Famous Supreme Team.
