“Permission” is an unreleased song premiered live on June 2016 during a concert in Stockholm. It was supposed to be on her debut album So Good but was later scrapped due to unknown reasons along with “Wanna”.

The song is about Zara knowing what she wants and giving her lover the green light to start a romance. It starts out talking about the stigma surrounding ladylike behavior and then restates how she can do whatever she feels like with her own body. A similar message can be found in her previous single “Lush Life”.
