Pell hasn’t released much in the way of new music since the start of 2016, but it looks like that’s all about to change with the release, “Basic Beach.” The New Orleans native last project, LIMBO, dropped in November 2015 so it’s definitely about that time.

The rapper gets his groove on on this new record. The very musical backdrop, produced by Like Minds, consists of a horn arrangement with funky guitar and bass strings juxtaposed beside Pell’s feel-good flow. And the summertime vibes are abundant.
