“Human” is a song expressing the angst of the human condition and the inability of humans to be perfect or even fix many of the “real problems” in life.

Rag'n'Bone Man powerfully expresses the difficult things we all feel but find hard to express: our weaknesses, ignorance, guilt, failures, hypocrisy and troubles. The song is a powerful and despairing lamentation which simultaneously acknowledges both our problems and our limited ability to resolve them.

Rag'n'Bone man speaks for all of us when he expresses his guilt, sadness, and wanting to remove the burden he feels: “I’m only human after all; don’t put the blame on me. Don’t put the blame on me.”
