The lo-fi bedroom track “All You Gotta Be When You’re 23 Is Yourself” takes its name from a quote from the 1994 film Reality Bites. In the film, the main character tries to figure out her next steps after graduating college. The song centers on themes from the movie, including growing up and finding yourself in the “real world.”

The soft-spoken song served as the band’s breakout single and, consequently, featured on both the moving songs EP and debut album talking quietly of anything with you.
