The song features synzthesizers in the beginning to lead into a rap verse by the New Boyz about dating only one girl despite other guys playing the field. Tinashe leads the song and sings most of the verses with each of the girls switching off and receiving their own part.
The entire song addresses a guy who is in an on-again, off-again relationship with one of the girls and warns him to quit “dancing around the truth” about the other girl he’s seeing.
