27 Hours is an electronic ballad, with strong influences from BANKS' previous work, Goddess.

It is a digital exclusive track off of The Altar where another distraught relationship is put on display.

Again, Banks show us the vulnerability of her relationships. In an interview with Clash, she explained that:
