This song is named after Gucci Mane (A.K.A Guwop), an Atlanta rapper considered to be one of the founding fathers of trap and is responsible for the way trap music is today.
On May 26th 2016, Gucci Mane was released from prison after spending two years locked up for possession of a firearm. Just a month later, he released his album Everybody Looking which also featured Jeffery on the track “Guwop Home”.
GUWOP also has a meaning to it, explained by Gucci himself on Twitter:
