“Addicted” is a change of pace consistent with the post-prison Gucci Mane who has been sober since his prior imprisonment. Whereas previous post-prison songs like the iconic “First Day Out” continued to glorify drug use, “Addicted” closes out WOPTOBER by acknowledging the first of the twelve steps program of recovery: admitting that you are addicted.
