“Admit It” tells the story through the eyes of someone who has been betrayed by someone close to them. The subject of this song is the same person referenced in the song “Hypnotized” on the same album. Lead singer of Set It Off, Cody Carson, says about the song,

It’s about someone in my life who I thought I knew very well, and an event took place and I realized there’s things about them that I guess I overlooked. I’m more like ‘Man, is this true? What’s going on? Just admit it.’
