Hungry No More

Hungry No More

Mudcrutch

This underrated gem is not only a highlight on Mudcrutch’s second album (2). It’s a highlight in the Tom Petty and co. body of work.

Paul Zollo, author of one of the first books about (and with) Tom Petty (CONVERSATIONS WITH TOM PETTY) wrote this after Tom’s untimely death at age 66:

“Are those not miracle songs? To this day I hear him singing on my spiritual radio, and those songs are as powerful as ever, if not more. Late last night, when these Angeleno streets on which I drive in moonlight times are mostly empty, I listened to one song of his, "Hungry No More”, over and over. It was all I needed."
