“RERUN” is a collaboration between Quavo and Travis Scott made during sessions for their collaborative album Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho. The song didn’t make it onto the project, however, and eventually found a home on Quavo’s debut solo album after almost two years of anticipation.
The first snippet of the song, featuring Travis recording his vocals in the studio, surfaced on October 28, 2016. The track was later previewed live on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 alongside “Lo-Fi” on April 3, 2017, via FaceTime.
On June 12, 2018, producer Ikaz Boi tweeted that the song had “been sent to oblivion” before shortly deleting it, suggesting that the song has been scrapped. On September 19, 2018, however, Quavo told HYPEBEAST he was considering putting the song on his debut solo album.
