Taeyeon returns with the calm autumn single, “11:11”, after her last summer mini album Why. The digital single was not open until November 1, 11:00 PM (KST).

The song is based on the parallel theme of “right before a day’s end” compared to the time right before the separation of a couple—a metaphorical idea which is expressed by the recurring numbers 11:11. The teaser M/V also follows the same theme by representing each second to a person’s heartbeat.
