“Love on the Weekend” is the lead single off John Mayer’s new album The Search For Everything. The song marks his return to pop-rock music which is reminiscent of 2001’s Room for Squares. In it, he sings about how excited he is to meet up with his love interest, taking her on a special weekend trip.
