Gabi DeMartino opens up about her anxiety with her debut single “Ever After” released in 2016

After a life long battle with who I want to be and who people have wanted me to be, I finally ripped off all the layers of their expectations and accepted myself for who I am.

She wrote this song about finding herself during some of her toughest times during depression and anxiety. another version of the song is featured on her 2020 debut studio album Beautiful Mess.
