This is the original version of “New Freezer”, the first collaboration between Rich The Kid and Kendrick Lamar. It leaked online on September 26, 2017, just an hour before Rich released the final version.

As well as the different features, this version features an intro with fewer vocals, and the instrumental notably doesn’t pick back up towards the end of Rich’s first verse just before the chorus. Judging by snippets teased by Rich and the original filename of the song (NEWFREEZER12.14.2016), it was recorded on December 14, 2016, 8 months before it was released.
