Kevin Abstract hopped on Tumblr to drop off a demo version of “American Boyfriend”, the title track from his November album release.

The rough draft version, recorded this summer, doesn’t differ too much from the final cut of the song, but it has a fuzzy lo-fi charm that kind of befits the song’s atmospheric, soundtrack-to-a-pivotal-moment-in-a-teen-movie quality. “American Boyfriend (OG Version)” was one of six previously unheard tracks uploaded to the the SoundCloud page called DaysBeforeAmericanBF on Christmas Eve.
