Often considered one of the best UK drill songs ever made, “Kennington Where It Started” is a boastful posse cut named after Harlem Spartan’s local area of Kennington, South London. Bis, who would pass away in December 2019 following a stabbing, begins the song with what would become one of the most iconic lines of this era of UK drill music:

Question (Listen)
If gang pull up, are you gonna back your bredrin? (Help)

Representing the new-wave of UK drill music and following in the foot steps laid by preceding groups such as 67 and 150, Harlem came through with a newer sound featuring slick flows, high quality music videos, subtle productions, and quality lyricism. The success “Kennington Where It Started” achieved was quickly followed up in songs such as “Kent Nizzy” and “No Hook”.

In January 2020, the music video was taken down. It’s unclear why this happened.
