“17,000” is a French Montana song released in late 2008. It is a diss record aimed at Jim Jones, who has been involved in a long-standing beef with the Cocaine City pioneer.

The record is likely aimed in reference towards MOB: The Album which was released on July 1 to only 17,000 sales. A figure considered very low at the time for an established artist, with Jim Jones appearing on 16 of the album’s 18 tracks.

Max B was infamously left out of the album, with his verses and hooks instead used as reference tracks for the other rappers including Jim Jones, and NOE who is alleged to have sung Biggavel’s hooks.
