This track was just about having fun, expression and just exercising my lyricism and improving flow and technique. I really wanted to experiment by studying different artist’s flows and how they connect words and lines with one another. For this track, I have to say that Kanye, Cro, Logic, MF Doom, Tyler, The Creator, Eminem, Wu-Tang, Biggie, Pac, Nas and many others all played a part in influencing it. I wanted to pay homage to the greats and just honour them with some witty lyrics and good shit. That’s also why I sampled Jay-Z’s ‘yeah!’ from Encore, just to kick it all off.
