“Vintage” is the second track off Allie X’s second full-length album titled CollXtion II”. The song is co-written by Troye Sivan.

On June 10, 2017, Allie did a Q&A on Twitter and a fan asked “which song was the hardest to write? #XMEANYTHING”. She replied in a video saying:

Um the hardest song to write, I mean, probably like “Vintage”, which I had the melody for a long time ago. I think the original even leaked, um I never liked the production or the lyrics or how it sounded in my voice so I spend like two years just kind of trying to find the right approach for that song and when I finally did I was so happy.
