“Blame It On U,” like the title suggests, finds Charli blaming a lover for her attachment to him. Though she’s the one who’s ‘addicted’ to him, she feels as though he’s made her “high” off his love and, like an addict, she’s unable to quit. Even though it seems like she knows it’s a bad idea, she’s unapologetic about it, singing:
