This cover of Lana Del Rey was performed in September 2014 at the LC Pavilion (Hometown shows). The show closed a run of shows and, most importantly, indicated the end of an era as in the original verse, Tyler says Vessel’s time has come to an end.
The timing for the cover was likely thought out because it was covered as summer ended, referring to the summer sadness indicated in the song, but also the sadness of summer ending (and Vessel’s era ending).
