“Brave Shine” was released on June 3rd 2015 chronologically as Aimer’s 8th single. The song is featured as the opening theme for the second season of Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (2015).

“Brave Shine” is a power pop-rock number, considered as Aimer’s most prominent song to date. The song peaked at #4 Japan’s Oricon Chart. Along with “LAST STARDUST,” the insert song on episode 8 of UBW 2nd Season, “Brave Shine” eventually listed on Aimer’s 3rd studio album, DAWN, as the 9th and 10th track. A similar format was previously used on Aimer’s 2nd studio album, MIDNIGHT SUN, to list the Mobile Suite Gundam Unicorn’s theme songs, “RE:I AM” and “StarRingChild”, as the 9th and the 10th track as well.
