“Deus Vult” (Latin for God Wills it) is a song by JT Music, featuring Trollfest as part of the album Crate Expectations. This song is based on the Medieval Combat game “For Honor.” The title is due to the Knights faction, who used to say this exact phrase, removed due to it’s claiming from White Supremacists, even though it is historically accurate.
This song focuses on the (at the time) three major factions (Wu Lin were not in the game at the time.) These are Knights, Vikings and Samurai. This song mainly acts as a sort of biography of the 3 groups and their experiences with eachother. It mentions Honor and dying for honor as at the time, dying with honor was hailed as a true way to go.
