This track is a collage of tracks that would later appear on Soundtracks for the Blind, except in German (like most of this EP).

“Ligeti’s Breath” occupies roughly the first 7 minutes of the track, incorporating elements from the songs The Beautiful Days and I Love You This Much. The name of this first piece is a nod to György Ligeti, one of Michael Gira’s favorite composers.

Hilflos Kind is the German-language version of the song Helpless Child, with otherwise no major difference. The name is a literal translation.
