The music video was created by a group of teenagers from Longford in collaboration with local film company Vision4Dreams. The video accompanies Our Future, an urban rap song written and recorded by the youngsters, with David Pye Workshops, to describe their area and hopes for the future. The song has already received over 1,000 hits on YouTube and is set to hit even greater heights following the launch of the new video.

The project was supported by Keepmoat and GGHT as part of the Trust’s Longford Quality of Life project. Over the last 12 months the Trust and its partners have helped to deliver a large number of improvements in the Longford area. Tenants and residents have benefited from improvements to the walls around their properties and front drives, while the area has seen a number of initiatives to clean up grot spots and reduce crime and anti social behaviour.
