“Dean Town” is a crowd favorite instrumental featuring a challenging bass solo.

It has various similarities to Weather Report’s “Teen Town”, the source of “Dean Town”’s title, and Parliament’s “Do That Stuff”. The song’s composer, Vulfpeck keyboardist Woody Goss, said in an interview with Medium that he was strongly into Parliament bassist George Clinton in high school.
