Being one of the most played song of Sophie Meiers and released during the most active part of her career (Fall 2016), “Wet Socks” was made in collaboration with Gin$eng, a Soundcloud artist with whom Sophie worked several times during this nick of time, which was supposed to result in an EP, but only 2 tracks were released, "Wet Socks” and “You left the door open”.

On this track, Gin$eng quits his usual hardcore producing style to create a very calm and catchy music which is made to go with the soft and innocent voice of Sophie Meiers.

The song talks about a series of conflicts that Sophie had with a man with whom she was in a relationship with, before he eventually left him without giving any news. Sophie describes the way she is going through all this and the different feelings she has about it.
