“Euphoria”, the first song that Shiny Wet Machine ever wrote as a two-piece, describes the feeling that you get when you lose yourself in something you love. It is also the third single released off of the band’s debut EP Lights Out.

Frontwoman Sizzy Rocket talked about the jamming session that created Shiny Wet Machine with Brightest Young Things.

We started talking about the music we liked, which was seventies punk, Stooges, nineties grunge like Hole and Nirvana, and I was like, “Why don’t we try writing something like that today? I want to do that.” And the song we wrote that day was actually “Euphoria”, which is the first song on our EP. Afterwards we both looked at each other and were like, “Whoa! That was really cool, let’s do another one!”
