Rainbowdragoneyes’s “Säkkijärven Polkka” is an 8-bit cover of the traditional Finnish folk tune of the same name.

After its release, Rainbowdragoneyes made a post on Facebook explaining that he was inspired to make it after seeing other 8-bit versions of the folk tune that left much to be desired. The post also includes a reference to stereotypes regarding Finns’s alcohol consumption:

The other “8-bit” versions of this tune on YouTube were kind of making me throw up in my mouth a little, so I made this! Vomit-free! Unless you drink too much!
