P.D.D is a collaborative track made by RM and American Hip Hop producer Warren G. RM first met Warren G when BTS filmed their own reality show American Hustle Life in the United States back in 2014. They then proceeded to work together after Warren G had officially talked to RM’s label, Bighit Entertainment. The BTS leader and rapper further revealed how he and Warren G worked together on this track during an interview with Hiphopplaya:

At first, we received 3 songs. However, the feeling didn’t really come to us well. This wasn’t the Warren G feeling that I had thought of. I was looking forward to a song like ‘Regulate’ or ‘This DJ’, but it wasn’t that kind of song. That’s why I asked for another song to be sent, and I received 3 songs additionally. Among those, ‘P.D.D’ was a song that I thought was closest to Warren G’s feel.

Through P.D.D, RM managed to send a slightly brutal message to his haters over the soft, west-coast feel beat made by Warren G.
