It is a very deep track from the beauty of Halsey’s heart. In the song, Halsey laments about the insecurities she felt, and how it was a part of her relationship. Her insecurities made her push her lover away, and she worries if she will ever be able to let anyone close to her again. Throughout the song, Halsey also hints at how her Bipolar Disorder might be the reason she failed at her relationships.

On February 1st 2018, she tweeted that she’s got a surprise for the fans.

The next day, on February 2nd 2018, she unexpectedly released a music video for Sorry. This marks the third music video for hopeless fountain kingdom.
