Action This Day

Action This Day

Queen

“Action This Day” takes its title from a Winston Churchill catchphrase that he would attach to urgent documents.
This track, written by drummer Roger Taylor, makes full use of the electronica associated with Musicland: drum machines, a synth sax solo played by Mack and programming are all utilized. His lyric has a quasi-sociological tone, but the vocals are classic Queen— shades of ELO bombast explode from Mercury, all held together with a classic 80s robotic beat.
