Widely regarded as a SoundCloud classic and one of the best songs to be released during the streaming service’s underground “plugg” era of 2015-2018, “Honda” is David Shawty’s most popular song, having accumulated nearly two million plays on SoundCloud and over 300,000 views on YouTube.

Despite the song’s comical nature and theme, David’s friend Dalton James insists (David has also admitted it in an interview) that the song is based on a true story.
