As the title track of the album, “Alive” is a declaration of holding on when things get rough and making it out, as the title suggests, alive. It originally started out as a poem Katherine Cimorelli wrote, and turned into the song.

Following up to the release of the song, the group encouraged their fans to share their stories on social media using the hashtag #Alive, and a music video was released the same day as the song.
