The artwork used on the single cover was written/painted by Landon Jacobs and designed by Jason Suwito. It is the band’s 4th single post their debut album, ‘You Haunt Me’. Upon reference to the song, Landon Jacobs, the band’s lead vocalist, said “[Astronaut] is trying to put a different spin on being alone, because sometimes being alone can give you this great ability to see the world in a way that’s larger than life.”
