Cale Hawkins released two impressive tracks today, both a showcase of his engaging, richly developmental songwriting. Both tracks tread in a symphonic-tinged vein of electronica, with an arsenal somewhat reminiscent of Sufjan Stevens' The Age of Adz. The Brooklyn-based Hawkins makes these tracks distinctively his own though.
