The fourteenth song off of Members Only Vol. 3, “777” is relatively calmer and more lyrical than the majority of XXXTENTACION’s songs made in this album.

“777” is rapped over a beat that was made by Black Blood and The Chocolate Pickles called Mississippi Mud. This isn’t the first time this beat has been sampled as Pittsburgh rapper, Mac Miller had also used it in “Perfect Circle/God Speed”. This song was used in his third studio album and his commercial debut GO:OD AM.

The name of the song “777” is related to the way X looks to follow the right path.

This song shows how he is proceeding on this journey as he relates it to sin like in his previous songs. His previous songs that really interpret the meaning of “777” includes, “I don’t want to do this anymore,”, “R U N”, and Garette’s Revenge. These are just some songs that interpret he is done with his destructive, bad behavior and his longing to become a better person.
