When I wrote this song at Roundhead Studios and I saw that I was gonna work with Emily Warren (who is frickin AMAZING), I felt nervous and that I had to be on my A-game! Emily spent a couple hours just talking to me and trying to get to the bottom of my life and extract something real (which all great songwriters do.. write about real stuff), and once she got to it, it just flew.
