“Choke” is I Don’t Know How But They Found Me’s second released single. The song was released on October 26, 2017, after being performed at the band’s live shows in LA.

Written by Dallon as a way to sort through his feelings of not fitting in while he was in LA, the song details resentment and animosity towards the superficiality of Tinseltown and the obsession with wealth and fame in the entertainment industry. In concert, Dallon refers to this song as being about bullies he has encountered.

The release date is also a direct reference to the popular film Back To The Future (as it is the date Doc Brown and Marty McFly intended to travel to in 2010, before being attacked), from which the band takes its name.

On August 24, “Choke” was rereleased under the label Fearless Records, as the band had previously been unsigned.
