On “Dusk Till Dawn,” ZAYN enlists Sia on a song in which they tell the story of two lovers who are willing to do whatever it takes to stay together.

The song was released as a standalone single on September 8, 2017, delayed by one day. After releasing a few more singles throughout the following year, ZAYN then released his sophomore studio album, Icarus Falls, on December 14, 2018. On the same day, fans were confused as to why the song did not appear on the album. ZAYN claimed that there were issues while releasing the song as part of the album. On August 28, 2020, ZAYN re-released a new version of the album, in which the song, as well as his March 2017 single “Still Got Time” appeared.

The song was released on alongside its cinematic official music video. In the video, ZAYN portrays a secret agent, running from the law. He is accompanied by a mysterious female, portrayed by fellow British actress Jemima Kirke.
