“Stay With Me / Mayonaka No Door” was the debut single from Miki Matsubara, and the first single off of her debut album, Pocket Park, released in 1980. The song was released on November 5, 1979, when Matsubara was 19. At the time of it’s release, it rose to number 28 on the Oricon Chart. In recent years, the song’s popularity has peaked again due to social media platforms such as Youtube and Tiktok. The song was re-released as a 7" blue vinyl in 2021.
